Green Infrastructure Tour

The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments and the National Park Service, National Capital Region have prepared the attached “Virtual Green Infrastructure Tour of the Washington Metropolitan Area”. The tour is available on the Council’s website at:

The tour provides residents and visitors with a variety of selected examples of existing best management practices that are helping to sustain our local green infrastructure and protect and restore our natural and living resources.

The Virtual Green Infrastructure Tour was developed as part of the Metropolitan Washington Green Infrastructure Demonstration Project, a collaborative effort between the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments and the National Park Service.
